Flights
To reach Socotra is through Yemenia Airways' 2 weekly flights between Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Socotra. The flights are every Tuesday and Thursday. These flights are not available online for bookings, and the only way to book them is through reliable travel agents.

Visa
Most travelers to need to get a visa to enter Socotra. We will help to take care of this for you. The government fixed the price at $200 for this season. We will request your tourist visa 3 weeks before your departure. *GCC nationals (Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain) do not need a visa.
Getting Around
Traveling around Socotra by public transportation is extremely not convenient and not possible as all iconic natural sites and touristic spots located in very remote areas of Socotra. Roads especially mountain roads are very rough and there is no other way to tackle them than transportation in a 4x4 Land Cruiser.
Accommodation
In Socotra, there are two main accommodation options: camping in nature or staying in a hotel in Hadibo, the capital. Camping is the better choice because Socotra's main attractions are spread across the island, often several hours from the capital, Hadibo.
Best Time To Visit Socotra
The ideal time to visit Socotra is between October and April. During these months, the weather is most favorable, with mild temperatures, clear skies, the seas are calmer, and perfect timing for diverse outdoor activities.
